Χαίρετε!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

I was born in Cyprus, grew up outside D.C., and am currently a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh, where I am advised by Dr. Panos Chrysanthis.

My current research interests lie primarily in database systems. While my initial interests included graph algorithms and spatio-temporal queries, my recent work focuses on making worst-case optimal join algorithms suitable for cloud environments.

During my time at Pitt, I’ve had the pleasure of being involved with the ADMT, Kovashka, and LIFE labs. Each of these experiences was invaluable, helping me grow both as a person and as a researcher.

Ultimately, I love the research process and just enjoy tackling challenging problems, so if you ever want to discuss research, a fun problem you’re working on, or anything else, feel free to reach out via email.
